Fun With Nate & Michael!

Noah and I got the opportunity to babysit Nate for an afternoon back in march and it was soooo much fun! We hadn't seen them in so long and it blew me away how big our kiddos are! This was the first time Noah actually played with another baby.

Sure, he has been with other babies, but they engaged in side by side play, not really with each other! It was pretty funny watching them. As soon as Noah would find a toy to play with, Nate would crawl over, check it out, and then swipe the toy. Noah would watch him for a minute and then go find something else, and it would start all over again. After about the 5th swipe, Noah started taking the toy back. Pretty funny to watch a power struggle between two babies, who can't stand up, walk or talk. At the end of the day, I was actually having to intervene and break them up. Cute!

Nate watches Noah play...............then takes the box!

Noah takes the box back.........and Nate takes the block! :)

Nate takes toy from Noah..............Noah takes toy back!

eventually they compromise...with the help of mommy!

After the swiping play, we had some snacks and headed out to the Capitola Cliffs for a walk in the sunshine! When we got back Noah and Nate were at it all over again! We had a blast and geared up for a visit with Michael and Kat!

Noah "sharing" with Sydney...she was good and not "begging" but Noah was so generous, she couldn't resist!

though Noah rode in the Ergo on my back, he
REALLY wanted to climb in the stroller with Nate!

this last series cracks me up....

playing nicely, until Noah tried to take the toy...
...so Nate hit him!

Nate got mad that I scolded him, and didn't notice that
Noah was moving in to get revenge!

Noah tried to push him to the ground (or hold onto Nate because he couldn't stand up! Either way I had to step in again!)

About a week later, we had Kat and Michael for a visit...and she survived Bear Creek Road, despite all her fears!!! :) The boys are VERY mobile and VERY curious as to what each other are up to. This lead to the two of them chasing each other around the house and Kat & I following close behind. Justine stopped in for a quick visit and hit it off with Michael immediately and Kat was happy to have someone to follow back over the big scary mountain road!

Michael wanted to taste Noah....and left the drool marks to prove it!

House Warming Party!

The week after my family left, I spent most of my time digging out pictures, and knick-knacks, decorating and scrambling to get the house ready for our party! I did take some time to go over to San Jose and visit with some friends though!

Needless to say, our party was a success! Nearly everyone showed up and came with big smiles and lots of food! We BBQ'ed and had a pot-luck and ate like Kings & Queens. There was an insane amount of kids at the party too! It was soooooo fun! They were everywhere. At one point I found Sierra in Noah's crib, Lolys changing a baby on the changing table, saw Evan and Nick run down the hallway at the speed of light and Noah was being passed around the house with out me for about and hour! There was 34 people in my house and not once did it seem crowded and uncomfortable!
We finally have some space!

Noah & Jesus were INSTANT friends...he literally hung out with him for at least 45 minutes!

March Recap

So, since the move, I have been a bit busy with a zillion things. I have had plenty to write about but lacking the time to actually write about them! So to catch you all up, and keep a record of our crazy month I figured I would post all my favorite pics and short recaps from our March events!

After the big move, I was fortunate enough to have my mom stay for a week and help unpack, decorate, go shopping and play with Mr. Noahnator. We had tons of fun. The following weekend, Sarah and Lily came to visit and we had even more fun! We were sad to see them all go, but were grateful for our visit and look forward to many more!

Lily's hair was all crazy one morning...she looked like Jim Carey in Ace Ventura...so I taught her to say, "SHAKAKA!" Soooo funny! She would drag out the "sha" and then shake her head back and forth and say, "KA-KA!" soooooooo funny!

since I was about 7 months pregnant with Noah, my feet have been to big to fit in my shoes :( they still don't fit. SOOOO SAD! Despite my desire to keep them in hopes that my feet will shrink 1.5 sizes, I went through all my shoes, had a funeral for them and they have found a new home with Sarah! I hope you love them as much as I did girl!

BATH TIME! After Lily tried incessantly to dump water over Noah's head and we stopped her, they resorted to holding hands instead!

Jason & I celebrated our birthdays that same week while my Mom, Sarah & Lily were visiting. Thursday night (Jason's Birthday) my Mom babysat Noah while J and I went out to dinner. We went to the local Italian restaurant, Scopazzi's. Not to bad! We came home to Noah and Obachan busy in the "office" and a homemade, fresh and delicious German Chocolate Cake! YUM YUM! Thanks Mom!

"Obachan is so much fun!"

we can get pretty silly sometimes!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Friday, my birthday, my Mom, Noah and I dropped off my car for a tune up and took the shuttle to the mall. We spent the entire time wondering around Ross and scored all kinds of good stuff! By the time the car was ready, we were wiped out and hungry! Sooo, we went out for Japanese food and had some delicious Udon! Noah enjoyed a head of broccoli and we met up with Sarah in Lily as they rolled into town! Kathy and Ron had us over for dinner and we celebrated our birthdays with the family! All the kids in the house was so much fun!

my mom cleaned the food grinder in her soup bowl! hahahahaha!

they were RUNNING all around the house!

piano time with Grammy!

We ended the weekend with our birthday tradition...a massage at The Tea House Spa. Though we skipped the hot tub, Jason and I enjoyed an hour massage while Noah hung out with his Obachan, Aunt Sarah and Cousin Lily! Thanks again you 3! After the massage, we had some yummy Indian food, the kids had a melt down and we said our good-byes. What a week!
